Offer on OQB Subscription 2023/24

To empower all schools to use quality assessment platform with the lowest threshold, EdCity and HKEAA will continue the 'whole school' subscription model for Online Question Bank (OQB) that allows the use of platform by paying a reasonably-priced subscription fee. Features are as follows:

• Question bank covering a variety of subjects: Providing over 7,000 questions in 10 subjects (HKDSE 2023 questions are now available) from past papers that caters for the needs of most students, including Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Information and Communication Technology, Business, Accounting and Financial Studies, Tourism and Hospitality Studies and Physical Education.
• Available to all teachers and students: All teachers can use the platform, while F4 to F6 students can prepare for public exams with online past papers, and some questions are suitable for F1 to F3 students. The system design also fits for students conducting self-directed learning.

2023/24 service is now open for subscription. Schools may choose to subscribe to one-year service, or cross-year service with a discount offer. Moreover, a special discount will be offered to schools who have subscribed to the service in the past 3 years (i.e. 2020/21, 2021/22 & 2022/23). To help you master OQB's applications, EdCity is pleased to provide assistance by demonstrating its features via school visit or webinar for teachers, and/or workshop for students (complete an online form for arrangement). A series of campaigns and activities will also be arranged, allowing students to experience the benefits of eAssessment.

• The price of DSE OQB is based on the total number of students of the school. All school-based students and teachers can access questions of ALL the above-mentioned subjects upon successful subscription.

• HKDSE 2023 questions are now available.

• In a case where cross year bundled services (i.e. 2-year and 3-year) are terminated by Hong Kong Education City Limited (the“Company”) by any circumstances not foreseeable or controllable during the contract period, the Company shall proportionally refund the buyer the paid package fees for the unused month(s).

(Option 2) Data-driven Assessment Enhancement Programme

Remarks:

• The programme includes subject-based assessment design item writing training for two teachers (Physics and Biology for 2023/24 school year) as well as unlimited use of HKDSE Diagnostic Feedback System (DFS) and Assessment Quality-assurance Platform (AQP) for all teachers and students.

• The deadline for subscribing to the service plan is 17 November 2023.

• The subject-based assessment design item writing training will be conducted online after the subscription deadline until July 2024, for approximately one hour per week (20 hours in total). The exact start dates are to be determined.

• The service period of DFS and AQP is from the date of successful subscription to 31 August 2024.

• DFS interface and functions for all 10 subjects will be available from the date of successful subscription.
