AI Debater is an AI-powered English debate platform built around live debate plus end-to-end coaching, developing students’ critical thinking, reasoning, and English expression through real practice.

In Scene Setup, students choose the topic, side, opponent style, debate format, and difficulty, then debate a responsive AI opponent. Several AI roles work together: the AI opponent argues back with realistic, age-appropriate pressure and challenges weak reasoning; ARI, the AI coach, briefs a game plan and key vocabulary before the debate, intervenes in real time — slowing down, clarifying concepts, offering hints and encouragement — when it detects a pause or a student who’s stuck, and scores the debate afterward with full feedback: strengths, improvements, itemized scores, evidence from the transcript, and one recommended next step.

Coaching and scoring quality are anchored by a Board of Advisors of current world-class debate champions, keeping guidance aligned with international best practice; the scoring framework is designed around the TQUK standard and calibrated to each student’s age and level. Three support tiers — Guided, Supported, Independent — adjust freely, and with progress tracking and automatic reinforcement of weak skills, every learner follows a path suited to them.
