StoryTellAR is an online learning platform that seamlessly connects offline learning materials with interactive digital content using Computer Vision and Augmented Reality. Users utilize their mobile phones to associate audio recordings, videos, 3D models, 2D stickers, and quizzes with physical books, learning materials, or artworks, enhancing the learning experience. StoryTellAR has 10+ different usages, including Homework Assistant, Virtual Art Exhibition, Beautifying Campus, SEN support, AR Treasure Hunt, AR multiplayer boardgame coding, etc. We also offer AR Chinese History Cards, a hands-on interactive exploration of Chinese history.

We integrate AI elements into its StoryTellAR app as part of a broader education framework that moves students from “learning about AI” to “using AI well”. Through StoryTellAR, AI is embedded across multiple subjects, including Chinese language, visual arts, coding/ICT, PE/treasure hunt activities, and civic/national education. This makes the solution cross-disciplinary and easy to adapt across schools.

For example, for language subjects, AI storytelling and immersive reading can enhance the mastery of languages and expressing students’ creativity. Meanwhile, we also provide AI literacy and AI fluency courses based on the international frameworks like UNESCO AI and AILit.
