Hong Kong Education City Limited (EdCity) is a wholly-owned company of the Government of HKSAR. Our portal, EdCity.hk, is a one-stop professional educational portal in Hong Kong which incorporates information, resources, interactive communities and online services, and promotes the use of information technology (I.T.) in improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning. We are now looking for a high caliber professional to join our dynamic team in the following position.
Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of AI & digital education initiatives in HK schools;
- Advise on the adoption and application of AI in education, covering educational technology, learning platforms, education pedagogy, and learning science;
- Promote and support learning services, educational programmes, and community engagement through digital education technology;
- Support communications and stakeholder engagement related to digital education initiatives in different languages;
- Support teachers’ training programmes, including content development & review, and act as a trainer to share professional experience;
- Take up ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in any disciplines or equivalent, with a Post-graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is preferred;
- Minimum 8 years’ working experience, with 5 or more years’ working experience in education-related fields;
- Strong understanding of AI and digital learning technologies, with the ability to integrate these into educational services;
- Experience in developing and justifying educational content;
- Good understanding of the education system of Hong Kong, as well as primary and/or secondary subject-matter curriculum knowledge;
- Familiarity with educational technology, learning platforms, and education pedagogy is highly desirable;
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience in teaching and training related to education initiatives.
