The first online workshop for the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2024: Student Innovation Award concluded with great success on May 18, 2024. This workshop featured two guest speakers – Mr. Wong Kin-wai, the Chairman of the IT Education Leaders Association, and Mr. Leung Kwok-chu Anthony, the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Digital Vision Brands Holdings Limited. The speakers' insightful sharing proved highly beneficial to the participants, injecting inspiration and motivation into the competition.

Under the "Enhancing Learning Effectiveness" theme, Mr. Wong Kin-wai shared numerous practical application examples, offering valuable tips and guidance to the participating students. Meanwhile, Mr. Leung Kwok-chu Anthony shared his extensive experience in coordinating and leading students to participate in China's national defence education-related activities, speaking on the importance of "cultivating national sentiment". The inspiring insights from both speakers brought a brand-new perspective to participants, broadening their horizons.

Both speakers emphasized the significance of thorough data collection and analysis when preparing for the competition. Understanding existing solutions and problems enables participants to propose targeted and innovative solutions, significantly enhancing their chances of success in the competition.
