Green Flame Project – Smart Energy Competition
Towngas strives to promote sustainability in the community and spares no effort to integrate environmental protection with education, raising students’ awareness of environmental issues and a green lifestyle, while EdCity focuses on promoting innovative learning to equip students with necessary skills. Therefore, Towngas and EdCity joined hands to organise the ‘Green Flame Project – Smart Energy Competition’, allowing students to integrate and apply STEM knowledge and hands-on skills to create innovative solutions for integrating smart energy elements in the energy industry, or leading the public to switch to low-carbon living, with a view to enhancing their knowledge in the field of smart energy and energy innovation.
Objectives
- Enable students to integrate and apply STEM knowledge and hands-on skills
- Enhance students’ knowledge in the field of smart energy and energy innovation
- Encourage students to make use of cognitive thinking and creativity to realise low-carbon living
