Introduction
Enjoy learning English with over 15,000 videos! EnglishCentral believes that watching videos, such as movies, interviews, documentaries, etc., can bring students engaging and impressive learning. Its authentic AI speaking technology allows every student to watch their level-appropriate videos and enhance their listening ability and speaking fluency day by day.
EnglishCentral Easter Challenge 2022 aims to strengthen students’ English ability beyond the classroom by using the high-quality English videos bundled with speaking, vocabulary and comprehension exercises on EnglishCentral.
All Hong Kong secondary schools interested in joining this challenge are welcome. Teacher-in-charge can apply for trial accounts of EnglishCentral by completing an online form on or before 22 April 2022 (Fri), and encouraging students to participate in the challenge!
For schools participating in eREAP and have applied for EnglishCentral, simply encourage your students to log in to EnglishCentral for participation with their EdCity student account and stand a chance of getting awarded.

Practices
Students can log in to their EnglishCentral account and complete the following tasks: ‘Watch the Videos’ (6 selected videos), ‘Learn the Words’ and ‘Speak the Lines’.
Students are encouraged to opt for a suitable level, and to nominate for individual awards
Teachers could encourage students to join, and to nominate for school awards

Please follow the steps below to log in to EnglishCentral:
- Visit www.englishcentral.com, and click ‘SIGN-IN’, then click ‘Login with HKEdCity’
- Use EdCity student account to log in
- Choose the right class based on levels,
- EdCity Easter Challenge 2022 (JS) for S1 to S3 students
- EdCity Easter Challenge 2022 (SS) for S4 to S6 students
- Click ‘Class Videos’ to ‘Watch the Videos’ (Total: 6)
- Choose at least 6 (for secondary levels) to ‘Learn the Words’ in each video
- Choose at least 6 (for secondary levels) to ‘Speak the Lines’ and complete the recording task**
**Students can attempt more than once, while the system will ONLY record the score of last attempt
