In line with the latest education policies, EdCity is organising the second “Student Innovation Competition” for the 2025/26 academic year to cultivate talents with innovative ideas and technology knowledge. The competition will maintain its format of proposal submissions and online presentations.

The ‘Student Innovation Competition 2025/26’ aims to unite creative minds from schools across Hong Kong to address educational sustainability challenges through innovative technology. Through teamwork, participating students will develop cutting-edge solutions and showcase their innovative capabilities and practical achievements to the public.

  • EdCity aims to inspire students’ innovative thinking, strengthen their collaboration skills, and encourage them to apply technology knowledge across educational and social domains to tackle sustainable development challenges
  • Enhance students’ awareness of educational sustainable development by helping them identify current educational challenges through hands-on exploration and collaborative discussion, ultimately developing innovative solutions
