The Education Bureau (EDB), in collaboration with Hong Kong Education City (EdCity), will host the annual education technology flagship event ‘Digital Education Week 2026’ (DEW 2026) from 21 to 27 June 2026. This signature event integrates two flagship events, the International Summit on the Use of AI in Language Learning and Teaching 2026 (AIinLT 2026) and the Learning and Teaching Expo (LTE) 2026. The week-long series of intensive activities encompasses a major expo, a principals’ conference, an international experts’ summit, and teaching workshops, creating valuable opportunities for cross-sector exchange and collaboration among the education, technology, and parenting communities, and exploring how innovative technology, including artificial intelligence (AI), can comprehensively enhance teaching and learning effectiveness.

To honour quality books beloved by students and teachers, and to recognise talented local authors, Hong Kong Education City (EdCity) held the 22nd Top Ten Book Picks Award Ceremony on 29 January 2026 at M+ at West Kowloon Cultural District. The event was officiated by Dr Choi Yuk Lin, JP, Secretary for Education, and Mr Armstrong Lee Hon Cheung, Chairman of Board of Directors of EdCity. As one of the most representative book vote activities in the academic community, the ceremony also promoted the culture of ‘Love Reading, Enjoy Sharing’, injecting momentum into campus reading.
