Hong Kong Education City Limited (EdCity) is a wholly-owned company of the Government of HKSAR. Our portal, EdCity.hk, is a one-stop professional educational portal in Hong Kong which incorporates information, resources, interactive communities and online services, and promotes the use of information technology (I.T.) in improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning. We are now looking for a high caliber professional to join our dynamic team in the following position.
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce multimedia content and assets for digital and offline channels that align with our brand and meet user needs;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, technologies, and industry best practices to refine and improve design strategies;
- Optimize visual designs to maximize user engagement, improve conversion rates, and support business objectives;
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage and update the corporate website, support promotional projects, and safeguard brand visibility across all platforms;
- Coordinate with external parties to oversee multimedia production, ensuring quality and timely delivery;
- Participate in video and photo shoots as needed, and take a hands-on approach to editing and producing final deliverables for campaigns and internal communications;
- Take up ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements:Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Creative Media, Multimedia Design, Visual Arts or related discipline;
- At least 5 years work experience in multimedia design, development, and graphic design, with experience in Agency will be an advantage;
- Experience in video and photo shooting is preferred, with the ability to transform footage into videos;
- Proficient with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro);
- Knowledge of web design, 3D presentation, HTML/CSS and Javascript;
- Strong planning, analytical, project management and problem-solving skills;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently, meet tight deadlines and be a good team player;
- Fluency in written and spoken in English and Chinese;
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Multimedia Designer.
