The AI in Education Forum Series: AI workshop organised by Hong Kong Education City (EdCity) was successfully held on 21 November at EdCity.
The workshop, themed ‘AI + Education Transformation – New Model of Innovative Practice in AI Education’, featured two distinguished speakers: Mr Xiao Yanyu, Deputy Director of the Youth AI Education Joint Laboratory at the Institute of New Generation Information Technology, Peking University, and Mr Carl Su, Product Director of Cloud Product of China Mobile Hong Kong. They offered in-depth insights into the latest developments of AI ecosystem in Chinese Mainland and shared practical case studies on how AI can be applied across diverse subject areas. Taking a broad perspective, the workshop also compared the current state of AI education in Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong, inspiring educators to harness technology to transform classroom practices and unlock new horizons in teaching and learning.
EdCity presented certificates of appreciation to the two speakers.
