*Tips for Teacher accounts
Q: What’s the difference between teacher accounts registered by individual/ school?
A: The teacher account registered by you individually (i.e. Individual Teacher Account) is mainly for teacher professional development, and is owned solely by you; the teacher account registered by your school (i.e. School-based teacher Account) is for you to use school-based services, such as the STAR platform. Each school will add, delete or update school-based teacher accounts registered through themselves in accordance with their teaching staff employment of the year.
Note: ‘School-based Teacher Account’ had been fully adopted in 2022/23 school year, only ‘School-based Teacher Account’ can access EdCity school-based services. CLICK HERE for details.
