On 27 April 2024, EdCity organised a seminar titled ‘Parent Talk: Revision Strategies’ to equip parents with the necessary skills to support their children. EdCity’s Executive Director, Mr Ken Ngai Yuen-Keung shed light on how to formulate effective revision strategies that lead to improved academic performance.
To illustrate strategies for raising students’ motivation and long-term memory, Mr Ngai related his own and his children’s experiences. He also created a memory game based around five different types of types of bacteria to give parents a hands-on exercise of how to use effective study techniques.
The talk generated an enthusiastic response with parents’ engaging.
